LVMH posted revenue of $11.1 billion (€7.8 billion) in the first half of 2009, reflecting a slight increase over the same period in 2008 despite the global economy. According to the company, the Perfumes & Cosmetics business group increased its market share in the first half of 2009, despite revenue decline due to destocking by distributors.
